A FINE innings from Carl Pengelly wasn't enough as Nutbrook fell at home to Matlock on Saturday.
The result keeps them in the bottom two of Division One, 16 points ahead of bottom side Shipley Hall.

Nutbrook opened the batting and Pengelly was in fine form as he struck 92, helping his side to 235-7, David Hack also playing well as he reached 35 not out.

But Matlock’s reply was spearheaded by an excellent knock from Mandla Mashimbyi, who scored an excellent 115 which, aided by Steve Pell’s 67 not out, helped the visitors pass Nutbrook’s total for the loss of just four wickets.
