SANDIACRE added to their opening day win over Spondon with another convincing victory on Saturday.

Visitors Elvaston batted first but struggled throughout their innings, only making 70 runs.

Ryan McFadyean and Kevin Newbold both took four wickets each, McFadyean for the loss of 21 runs and Newbold 32.

In reply, Sandiacre made light work of reaching their target, doing so in just 15.1 overs for the loss of one wicket.

This weekend’s double-header sees Sandiacre travel to Lullington Park on Saturday before facing Ticknall at home on Sunday, with both matches starting at 1pm.
