ILKESTON FC’s academy continued their excellent form by romping to a 3-0 victory at Worcester City in the Central Conference Reserve League on Monday night.

Dominating the match from the off, Kevin Wilson’s young side took an early lead through Tyrell Waite who scored from close range after a mistake by the home goalkeeper.

Josh Wisdom continued his good scoring run with a spectacular second when he produced a stunning strike from 30 yards out to make it 2-0.

The third goal arrived late in the game and again it was Waite who provided it when he scored following a corner.

The Robins’ next match is at the New Manor Ground tonight (Thursday), when they host Football CV Reds, another academy side who come from Northamptonshire.

Kick-off is at 7.45pm.
