ILKESTON Rutland produced a good home display to see off bottom-of-the-table Nottinghamshire in the Midlands Amateur Alliance on Saturday.

Rutland won the clash 4-1 thanks to a brace of goals from Luke Slaney and further strikes from Joe Gent and Sean Davis.

The win sees Rutland keep the pressure on at the top of the table as they sit just a point behind leaders Burnts Old Boys with two games in hand.

They will next be in action when they host Old Elizabethans at Manners Playing Fields with a 2.30pm kick-off.
