Ilkeston Outlaws U16 earned their biggest ever win after they beat Birmingham Mets 65-27.
The match started out with Ilkeston firing on all four cylinders and taking the first quarter 14 to 2.
This involved all of the starting five (Callum Miller, Tiago Geraldo, Sam Ringer, Dan Surgay and Ethan Roberts) scoring.
Having established a strong start the coaches continued with the same offensive strategy changing the guards around, which saw Dan Town and Aaron Shepherd come on to also both grab a basket each.
Mets started to score as well this second quarter however Ilkeston were still in charge taking the second quarter 13 to 9.
Starting the third quarter with a 27 to 14 lead Ilkeston continued to be dominant with Harry Lebeter having a sterling defensive game and also popping in a basket.
Aaron Shepherd must have the fastest hands in the league tipping the ball away from the opposition on a number of occasions with the press put on by Ilkeston.
Sam Ringer had a fantastic quarter driving to the boards and getting fouled and converting at the free throw line. This quarter finished with Ilkeston taking it 17 to 12.
Ilkeston turned up the heat in the fourth quarter and Tiago Geraldo and Callum Miller dominated, taking a large number of both offensive and defensive rebounds.
Tiago was on fire scoring as well sinking five baskets as Ilkeston ran out comfortable winners.
