Nutbrook’s opponents Langley Mill United were destroyed by the home side’s bowling attack who dismissed them for just 39 runs.
They had reached 27 in the tenth over before a total collapse ensued, opener Neil Wing out to Max Magann lbw for 12 and Aaron Tullett following next over bowled by Danny Brooks for 13.
A score of 27-2 then became 39 all out in the next overs as they managed one score of four, two of two, six ducks and six extras.
Brooks was the hero of the hour with a career best 7 for 13 while Max Magann chipped in with 3 for 20, helped by some fine catching by Rich Henshaw, Magann (pictured) and Andy Farmer.
Nutbrook had no trouble reaching the target, opener Dan Lever reaching 26 before getting out but Lewis Haywood’s 15 helped them over the line.
