Nottingham Forest kept up their unbeaten run — and their Championship promotion push — with a 3-1 win at the City ground over rock-bottom Yeovil on Sunday.
New signing Rafik Djebbour, who signed from Olympiakos last week, came off the bench to finish from close range in stoppage time to put the icing on the cake as The Reds cemented fifth place.
The home side hit the front after 16 minutes as Yeovil’s Byron Webster put thorugh his own net.
Yeovil were determined to get back into the clash and drew level nine minutes later courtesy of a Kieffer Moore header.
But Forest were wlell on their way to making it 13 games without defeat in all competitions when Simon Cox made it three in two games in the 38th minute to send the Trent End into raptures.
The points were sealed in front of the 21,000-plus crowd by Djebbour’s scrambled finish after cox flashed the ball across the six-yard box.
Forest now have a crucial seven-point cushion between themselves and seventh-placed Ipswich, meaning they are in the box seat when it comes to securing at least a play-off spot.
