Having looked a useful 1m/10f handicapper on the Flat a couple of seasons back, this five-year-old son of Dubawi lost his way for trainer Tony Newcombe. But his hurdling debut last month suggested he might find a fruitful, new career, especially as he’s been switched to the in-form yard of Venetia Williams. Fears about his stamina giving way on testing ground were allayed, so there is plenty of confidence behind him today.
