Nutbrook’S first XI cruised to a comfortable victory against Division Two strugglers Derby Congs on Saturday afternoon,
Batting first, Derby could only muster 144, Ben Dawes the pick of the Nutbrook bowlers finishing with figures of 4-15.
In their reply, Nutbrook made light work of the target, Mark Witham with 65 not out and Adam Lever 53 not out seeing the hosts home to record their first back to back victories of the season.
Nutbrook seconds travelled to league leaders Mickleover.
Mickleover, batting first, were reduced to 208 all out, thanks mainly to Nutbrook bowlers Adam Brooks with 4-44 and Daniel Kerry 4-28.
Nutbrook, in their reply, were in trouble at 30-3 but an 80-run partnership from Kerry (56) and Lewis Haywood (39) steadied the ship as Nutbrook finished on 171-7 to earn a draw.
Nutbrook thirds travelled to Little Eaton.
Batting first, Nutbrook posted 242, Rob Gilbert (57) and Jono Taylor (46) starring with the bat.
In reply, Little Eaton slumped to 143 all out, Gilbert (3-10) the pick of the Nutbrook attack.
