Trowell recover from an early deficit

WITH three players missing todue to school commitments Trowell were down to the bare 11 players, but managed a fine win at Attenborough.
The game started out with some frantic play that saw Attenborough go 1-0 within three minutes due to a defensive error.
Within two mins Trowell scored when Dwayne Parker's long throw found Josh West's feet and he took his chance to pick his spot with the keeper left stranded.
Then within another two mins an Attenborough player picked up the ball 20 yards out and hit it over Kristen Speed's head to make it 2-1.
The excitement continued when another ball through to Josh Platt who did not hesitate to score to level it up again.
The remainder of the half saw both sides create chances with the play going from end to end.
With some words from the manager and coach Trowell came out in the second-half showing how they can play passing football and it paid off after only five minutes when a ball from George found Platt who took the ball cleanly passing a defender and keeper to score his second.
As Trowell now started to dominate the play 15 minutes later Jack Sanders scored a screamer from the edge of the penalty area to make the score 4-2.
The remainder of the game saw some great passing play from Trowell with Atteborough continuing to push them all the way to the end.

So the final whistle blew on a thoroughly entertaining game that saw Trowell the victors 4 v 2. Man of the match went to Jack Saunders who must have covered every blade of grass today and scored a great goal.
Well done lads, it was nice to see you get back to playing passing football.
