West Hallam White Rose eased to a comfortable win at Morton on Saturday.
Asked to bat first, Morton started well by taking the score to 109-3 at the 23 over mark, James Lockhart taking one wicket and Peter Hort taking the other two.
When captain Tommy Lockhart rung the changes Tingle struggled to find that wicket ball but Lee Barrow had no such problem and with he, Hort and Tommy Lockhart in full flow Morton found themselves dismissed for a below par 179.
Hort was the pick of the bowlers with four wickets, Tommy Lockhart with three and Barrow with two.
Hallam immediately set about the Morton attack, Thomas Brandrick racing to 52 before falling to a mistimed pull shot.
Tim Hampton-Matehe provided an anchor role and when Matt Tatler joined him at the crease runs began to flow freely.
When Hampton-Matehe fell for 30, Carl Cruz made his intentions clear as he made a quick 21.
Tatler fell for 42 needing just 11 to win so it was left to Barrow and James Lockhart to see the win home in just 31.3 overs.
