Keep Calm - It’s Only a Century is the name of the Ilkeston Theatre Company’s latest show.
A recollection of events from 1914-2014, the inspiration for the production comes from the marking of the centenary of the First World War.
It will take you on a nostalgic journey through the decades, from the troops who are a long way from Tipperary to the heroes of the here and now.
There will be sketches, songs and dances, each representing their own eras, such as the Coronation, Eurovision, the miners on strike, the Beatles and the start of the new millennium.
The show will run from Friday, May 9 to Saturday, May 10, at St Andrew’s Church, Wilmot Street, Ilkeston. All tickets are £5.
Tickets are available from Moorley’s Print & Publishing (Park Road, Ilkeston), The Corner Cafe, (Market Place, Ilkeston), Dyl & Co (Bath Street) or on the door on the night.
Ilkeston Theatre Company will also be holding a raffle for the Help for Heroes fund on the show nights.
