Strictly Come Dancing fans will have another chance to see their recently crowned winner Louis Smith when the show’s UK tour visits Capital FM Arena in Nottingham on February 7-8.

Following an intense BBC One final, watched by an audience of more than 14 million just days before Christmas, Louis saw off the stiff challenge posed by fellow finalists Denise Van Outen, Dani Harmer and Kimberley Walsh to be crowned as the Strictly Come Dancing winner for 2012.

He will now recreate his winning moves live on the Strictly Come Dancing UK Tour.

A host of stars will be joining Louis on tour, including Van Outen and Harmer, TV actress Lisa Riley, who was the surprise package of the series, former England cricket captain Michael Vaughan, TV presenter Fern Britton and former England cricketer turned popular TV presenter Phil Tufnell.

The judging panel features Len Goodman, Bruno Tonioli and Craig Revel Horwood, who will also direct the arena tour for the third year running.

Tickets for the 2013 tour went on sale in September and have been selling fast ever since.

Over the last five years , the tour has sold more than 1.5 million tickets.

On tour, Strictly fans get to watch their favourite dancing couples compete live for votes and the all-important feedback of the TV judges.

The audience members can then vote themselves via their mobile phone.

Arena audiences will experience all of Strictly’s glitz, glamour and breathtaking choreography, right in front of their very eyes.

The television format, also known as Dancing with the Stars, entered the Guinness Book of World Records in 2010 as the world’s most successful reality television show and has been sold by BBC Worldwide to over 35 international broadcasters.

The victory for Louis Smith was hard-earned as he succeeded against a very strong field, partnered by Flavia Cacace, to take the title and complete a memorable year for him.

Louis was a member of Team GB at the London 2012 Olympics, competing in gymnastics and specialising in the pommel horse.

He gained a bronze in the 2008 Beijing Olympics and silver at the London Olympics in the summer.
