Recreations of performances of past greats, such as David Bowie, Michael Jackson, Queen and Elvis Presley are among the highlights of the event at Wymeswold which runs from Friday, May 27 until Sunday, May 29.

However, while the tribute acts may bring the crowds once the festival begins the audience also gets to see and hear more than 130 original emerging bands across the other stages.

Six stages will showcase and promote the very best unsigned talent from all over the UK, alongside top quality tributes to some of the industry’s greatest bands, past and present. Once the live music stops, the fun keeps going with a late night acoustic stage within the VIP bar and the very popular silent disco.

A spokesman for the festival said: “You won’t find a festival anywhere in the world with a line-up like ours, Glastonbudget celebrates the fantastic back catalogues associated with the legends of the music industry.

“Many of our visitors have not had the opportunity to experience the historical and vastly influential artistic contributions made by the original acts and are introduced to our outstanding musical heritage as our excellent tribute bands pay homage to their heroes.”

She added: “We are fiercely passionate about music and pride ourselves on developing artists, to recognising their talents and helping them to achieve their full potential by providing a performance platform, all supported by industry professionals. We believe Glastonbudget gives more opportunity to new unsigned industry talent than any other festival in the UK.”
