British music legends Madness have today announced details of a brand new UK tour, ALL FOR THE M.A.D.H.E.A.D., kicking off at Capital FM Arena Nottingham on December 4.

The new tour features their first UK live dates in over a year

The last couple of years have been good ones for the nutty boys. Madness played London’s iconic Alexandra Palace, said goodbye to one of London’s most recognisable landmarks, BBC Television Centre, performed a series of outdoor shows and released their tenth acclaimed studio album Oui, Oui, Si, Si, Ja, Ja, Da, Da.

Not only that but they had the chance to produce their own ales Gladness and Night Boat.

Since their Alexandra Palace date last September, Madness have been locked up the studio making brand new music so watch this space.

Regarding the new tour, Madness lead singer Suggs said: “I know when to go out, I know when to stay in and get things done…..GET YOUR M.A.D.H.E.A.D ON, WE ARE GOING OUT!!!!!”

Since releasing their debut single The Prince in 1979, the British chart veterans have enjoyed hit after hit after hit and have become one of the UK’s best-loved pop bands.

Their biggest hits have included One Step Beyond, My Girl, House Of Fun, Driving In My Car, Baggy Trousers and many more.

n Hall and Oates will be shorting a brief UK tour later this year with a visit to Nottingham’s Royal Concert Hall later in the year.

Daryl Hall and John Oates are the number one selling duo in music history. Returning to the UK after an absence of nearly ten years, they are to perform in Nottingham on July 6.

With over 30 top ten hits, including You Make My Dreams, Out of Touch, Private Eyes and Maneater, Daryl and John will pull on tracks from their combined illustrious careers for these special shows.

From the mid-1970s to the mid-1980s, the duo scored six number one singles on the Billboard chart, including Rich Girl, Kiss on My List, Private Eyes, I Can’t Go For That (No Can Do), Maneater and Out of Touch from their six consecutive multi-platinum albums - Bigger Than Both of Us (1976), Voices (1980), Private Eyes (1981), H2O (1982), Rock N Soul Part I (1983), and Big Bam Boom (1984).

The era would also produce an additional five Top 10 singles, Sara Smile, One on One, You Make My Dreams, Say It Isn’t So and Method of Modern Love.
