ROCK aces Blackfoot are back in the area on Friday, November 11, for a gig at The Flowerpot in Derby.
The band enjoys the title of one of the hardest working bands currently on the live scene, playing all over the UK and further afield.
Blackfoot will be performing a blistering set at the King Street venue, including such popular and classic tracks as Train Train, Highway Song, Baby Blue, Fox Chase, Left Turn, Fly Away and many others, plus a selection of new songs.
Nine Below Zero need little in the way of introduction to regular audience members at the King Street venue.
The blues/rock veterans are back for their latest appearance at the Flowerpot on Saturday, November 12.
Over the past 30 years, Nine Below Zero have become a seminal part of the British live music scene, their live gigs in particular earning them a phenomenal reputation among live music afficionados.
Support on the night for this Flowerpot gig comes from Matt Woosey.
Local favourites Woolley and Archer are back for the latest Acoustic Wednesday session. It will take place, free of charge, from 9pm in the bar at the Flowerpot, on Wednesday, November 16.
Finally, there’s a visit by the Patrick Sweany Trio on Thursday, November 17.
Patrick and co are masters of a wide range of musical styles, taking in blues, folk, soul, bluegrass, classic 50s rock, or even a touch of punk.
This musical omnivore will be mixing it all together into an entertaining and highly musical whole.
