Panic Room will be performing a gig at The Flowerpot in Derby on Friday, June 28.
One of the most exciting progressive rock bands currently on the circuit, they will be bringing their award-winning music to the King Street venue as part of their S K I N tour.
Promoting their new album - already hailed ‘a masterpiece’ by the international music press - the band will perform a wealth of music from S K I N, along with many fan favourites from their first two albums.
You can expect music of epic grandeur, spine-tingling beauty and gutsy raw power, all delivered with the sheer passion and sense of genuine fun which has made Panic Room one of the best-loved live bands on the circuit today.
Fronted by Anne-Marie Helder - winner of Best Female Vocalist in 2012 and 2011, and now holder of the ‘Heartthrob’ crown in Classic Rock Presents PROG magazine! - the band have a unique and powerful sound, infused with a flair and playfulness.

Then, on Saturday, June 29, you can see Too Rex in action, one of the leading tribute bands to the music of Marc Bolan and T. Rex.
Formerly called The Electric Warriors, Too Rex are now firmly established as one of the UK’s finest and most respected T-Rex tribute bands.
Fronted by Bolan clone Bobby T, the band always include T.Rex’s Top 20 hits such as Metal Guru, Jeepster, Telegram Sam, Hot Love, Children of the Revolution, Ride a White Swan, Get It On, I Love to Boogie, New York City, The Groover, Solid Gold Easy Action, and 20th Century Boy in their electrifying set, as well as some more obscure album tracks.
A party night is guaranteed by this band at what is sure to be a very popular gig at the ‘Pot.
Then, on Wednesday, July 3, the latest in the series of Acoustic Wednesdays sessions takes place in the bar at the venue.
Performing at The Flowerpot will be old favourites Alan Woolley and Levon Archer.
Acoustic Wednesdays gigs are free and take place in the bar.
Doors open for both gigs at 8pm and admission is £12 to see Panic Room and £10 for Too Rex.
