Laughs galore at Jongleurs

Nottingham’s Jongleurs comedy club welcomes four more stand-ups through its doors this weekend.

Performing there on both Friday and Saturday, July 4-5, are Sean Percival, Justin Panks, Rory O’Hanlon and Jeff Innocent.

The club is based on Thurland Street in the city centre.

n Saturday, July 5, is the date for a gig at The Victoria Inn in Derby by Just Ask For Jack, Se7rn and Tussk.

On Sunday, July 6, the Midland Place-based venue hosts the latest Sausage and Folk Acoustic Night and then you can see Cannon Bone on Thursday, July 10.

n Derby’s Robert Ludlam Theatre is to be the setting on September 12 for a Derby Jazz concert by British drummer extraordinaire Dylan Howe.

Howe’s five-piece band, featuring international jazz artist Andy Sheppard on saxaphone, will be promoting new album Subterranean, his reimagining of David Bowie’s classic Berlin recordings from the mid-1970s.
