There’s a treat in store for fans of classic rock music on Saturday, September 28, when tributes to two of the UK’s best loved heavy rock outfits, Whitesnake and Free, team up for a double bill of hard rocking action at the MFN club, based at Shipley gate, near Ilkeston and Eastwood.
Box O’ Snakes, fronted by Rainbow Rising’s Mark Slack, one of the UK’s foremost rock singers, will be delivering a quality set of classic Whitesnake material.
These tracks will include Here I Go Again, Fool For Your Loving, Crying In The Rain and many more.
Completing the bill of
this tribute band double header are Free At Last with their tribute to the gut wrenching bluesy hard rock of Free and Bad Company.
Their set will be packed with classics such as All Right Now, Mr Big, Can’t Get Enough and Feel Like Making Love amongst others that will be getting an airing at the gig.
Tickets for the performances by Box O’ Snakes and Free At Last are £6 in advance, or £8 at the door.
They can be obtained from either MFN and from Zebra Muzik, which is based on Nottingham Road, Ilkeston.
