More bands have been announced for this year’s IndieTracks Festival.

The 2014 event takes place from July 25-27 at the Midland Railway at Butterley, near Ripley.

Joining the bill are The Hobbes Fanclub, The Wendy Darlings, The Yearning, Trust Fund, No Ditching and Okinawa Picture Show.

Organisers of the event are also happy to say that Stolen Wine Social DJs and Ready Steady Girls DJs will be spinning tunes at the event’s discos after the bands finish.

However, Rocketship are now unable to perform at Indietracks this year.

The new bands join the existing line up this year, which already includes Gruff Rhys, Allo Darlin’, The Hidden Cameras, Dean Wareham, The Popguns, Withered Hand, Joanna Gruesome, Sweet Baboo, Spearmint and loads more.

More bands will be announced shortly.

Organisers are once again looking for volunteers for the festival weekend. It’s a great way to gain experience of working at a festival.
