The popular music event Osfest returns to Longford this weekend from July 25-27.
It runs from 7pm on Friday until 7pm on Sunday and will be looking to attract hudreds of music lovers, as in previous years.
Entry is free, all the performers play for no fee and the event is now in its fifth year.
Paul Kirkley, one of the event’s organisers, said: “The event setting allows people of all ages to attend.
“We are very proud and passionate about putting on this event.
“We will have on the bill bands of all genres: rock, pop, blues, indie, folk and soul.
“We have an excellent venue in The Ostrich Inn.
“They have a fantastic outdoor site perfect for staging a live music event and set in the beautiful Derbyshire countryside. We are in our fifth year and have grown steadily.”
A number of local Amber Valley bands will be taking part, including Heanor metal band NG26, Ripley favourites Burdock and The Roads, plus many more from further afield.
