SINGER Ola Onabule will be in concert at Nottingham Playhouse on Friday, February 24.
His voice has been described as many things: unmistakably gentle and wistful, haunting and heartbreaking, very special and unique, reminiscent of the great soul and jazz artists of the 1960s and 70s.
Ola Onabule has written, recorded and produced seven albums on his label Rugged Ram Records and his music has been performed on the largest festival stages worldwide including the main stage of the Montreal Jazz Festival, Vancouver International Jazz Festival and many others. In Germany, Ola has collaborated with The WDR Big Band in Cologne Philharmonie, The Babelsberg Film Orchestra in Nikolaisaal Potsdam. In March he will release his long-awaited seventh studio album Seven Shades Darker internationally.
Tickets to see his performance at the Playhouse are available by calling 0115 941 9419.
