Patriotic night out with Viva

SINFONIA Viva return to Derby’s Assembly Rooms on Monday, April 23, for a patriotic concert to celebrate St George’s Day.

Conducted by Nicholas Collon, the orchestra will be playing Britten’s Serenade for Tenor, Horn and Strings, William Walton’s Two Pieces for Strings from Henry V, Vaughan Williams’s Symphony No 5, plus Berlioz’s Love Scene from Romeo And Juliet.

The soloists for the Britten work are Allan Clayton (tenor) and Richard Watkins (horn).
