sandi Thom’s rearranged show at Derby’s Assembly Rooms is to take place on Friday, July 29.
The gig, originally to have taken place on June 10, is to be held in the Darwin Suite at the venue, getting under way at 8pm.
In 2006, Sandi Thom’s infamous debut single I Wish I Was A Punk Rocker topped the charts in seven countries with the ensuing album ‘Smile...It Confuses People’ shifting nearly two million copies to date worldwide.
After spending the last four years touring the globe alongside her live band, she has recently been taking to the long and winding roads of the UK to perform at some of the county’s most intimate venues.
Sandi Thom’s set will include tracks from her new album Merchants And Thieves, which also features blues legend Joe Bonamassa was released in May, topping the UK iTunes Blues Chart and the top five of the respective U.S. Chart. The album showcases a new sound, bringing to light her passion for the blues.
