Smell of success for new musical

A STAGE version of David Walliams’s popular kids’ book Mr Stink hits the stage at Nottingham Playhouse from August 16-28.

This is a musical adaptation of the book and comes to Nottingham as part of its world premiere tour.

Chloe doesn’t like school. She isn’t cool like the other kids. Then she meets Mr Stink, the local tramp. Yes, he smells a bit but he’s the only person who’s ever been nice to her and that includes her mother – and awful snob and would-be MP, who wants to rid the streets of its homeless.

About to lose her only friend, Chloe finds Mr Stink a secret hiding place, but is there more to him than meets the nose?

Adapted and directed by Matthew White, the show features songs by Matt Brind.

Tickets to see Mr Stink at Nottingham Playhouse cost £11-£16 and are available by calling the box office on 0115 9419419.
