The Sunday Morning Piano Series recitals will return to Nottingham’s Royal Concert Hall next month.
The first of the recitals takes place on Sunday, October 20, from 11am, and is to be given by Ishay Shaer.
He will be playing the Chaconne for the Left Hand (from Violin Partita No 2) by Bach/Brahms, Beethoven’s Sonata No 28 in A Major, Chopin’s Polonaise-Fantasie in A Flat Major and Ravel’s Jeux D’Eau.
On Sunday, November 17, Clare Hammond is to perform works by Mozart, Mendelssohn, Schubert and Ginastera.
Then, on January 26, the first recital of 2014 is to feature Sarah Beth Briggs with performances of works by Scarlatti, Beethoven, Britten and Chopin.
Leonora Armellini is to drop by for a recital on February 16.
She will be playing Brahms’s Two Lullabies, Chopin’s 12 Etudes and Prokofiev’s Sonata No 3.
The final concert of the season is to be held on Sunday, March 23.
The performer is to be Robert Thompson with works by Mozart, Schubert and Rachmaninov.
