Take a trip back to the jazz era

THE Derby-based Central Operatic Society will be performing the comic musical The Drowsy Chaperone from September 27 to October 1, at the Robert Ludlam Theatre, on Duffield Road, Derby.

This production will be the Derbyshire premiere for this little little known but cleverly written work by Lisa Lambert, Greg Morrison, Bob Martin and Don McKellar.

It transports you to the jazz era of the 1920s, through the imagination of the titular character.

Full of surprises, catchy tunes, great dance numbers and wonderful comedy, this show is performed nightly from 7.30pm with a Saturday matinee from 2.30pm.

Tickets are available by calling Laura Taylor on 01332 366279.
