POPULAR Belper-based band WhiteMoor return to the live scene with a gig at The Venue in Derby on Thursday, March 22.
The band have been working on their second album at Sound-Hub Studio’s SH1 in Belper and SH2 Stafford over the last six months.
The new, as yet untitled, album is set for release on Sound-Hub Records in the autumn and will be a follow up to the band’s now critically acclaimed self-titled debut album, featuring their first two singles Three Words and Pieces, that both charted in the top 100 downloads last year.
In addition to the gig at The Venue, based on Abbey Street in Derby, WhiteMoor will also be performing at a number of UK festivals again including a welcome return to Bearded Theory Festival at Kedleston Hall.
Band member Barrington said: ”After six months away, writing and recording, we’re more than ready to showcase the tracks from our new album. Expect powerful, anthemic pop songs laced with a dark electronic twist.
Tickets for WhiteMoor’s Radar Love show at The Venue are £3. Support comes from The Black Fuzz and The Kickliner.
