Thrilling tale at Derby Theatre

PREPARE to be chilled when Derby Theatre plays host to a production of The Woman In White, from September 19-23.

Adapted for the stage by Nicola Boyce, from the novel by Wilkie Collins, it stars former Dr Who Colin Baker, plus Peter Amory (Emmerdale) and Neil Stacy (Duty Free).

Walter Hartright, a handsome art teacher, is accosted by The Woman In White on a London road at midnight, where she pleads with him for his help to prevent her from being taken to an asylum.

She disappears just as suddenly as she appears, but this first, unsettling encounter is the beginning of a long journey which takes Walter to the darkest regions of the heart.

This is a new version of the classic Victorian thriller, which has never been out of print since its first publication in 1860.

Tickets cost £8-£21 and are available from the box office on 01332 255800.
