A new pizza delivery outlet will provide 30 new jobs for Ilkeston according to the husband and wife team running the new franchise.
The new Pizza Hut in Nottingham Road is the fourth store opened by Lee Humphries, who started out as a part time delivery boy for the firm at 16, and his wife Sarah.
Seven of the new jobs will be full time positions with the remaining 23 as part time.
The couple, who trade as S&G Enterprise opened their latest store thanks to a £65,000 startup loan for new franchisees from NatWest.
“This is important funding for us,” said Lee.
“It has allowed us to take our business forward and with the new shop we will have a much wider customer base.”
Lee moved from driver to shop manager and then to area manager.
The pair have opened stores in Mansfield, Sutton-in-Ashfield and Hucknall and now plan to open one in Chesterfield. The Ilkeston store opened this month.
