SHOPPING vouchers are up for grabs for residents who recycle their rubbish at the kerbside.
Derbyshire County Council is offering the chance to win one of 100 £50 Love2Shop high street shopping vouchers from now until June in a bid to promote recycling in the county.
All residents have to do is present their recycling, such as paper, cans and bottles, at the kerbside on the usual day to be in with a chance of winning.
The winners will be selected at random throughout the six-month campaign, with 12 allocated to each district or borough council area, including Erewash.
A one per cent increase in recycling means an extra 3,600 tonnes of waste is recycled, saving the authority £72,000.
