Business ifs booming for James Hall who is celebrating his web company, HeX Productions first birthday after a highly successful year.
The Ilkeston-based company has gone from strength to strength since opened up for full-time business in September 2014 and now boasts a rapidly growing client list including Together, Newark and Sherwood District Council, Rushcliffe Borough Council and Nottingham City Homes. It even got an early birthday present last month when it opened its first office in Bath Street, Ilkeston.
With over ten years experience in the public sector web industry, James first set up HeX in 2010 as a freelance project in his spare time, before finally taking the plunge, leaving his job and turning HeX into a full time business.
He said: “I’m completely overwhelmed by the success of HeX in its first year and whether it’s been working with new clients on improving their web presence to help grow their business or supporting existing customers with their daily web needs, I am very proud of what we have achieved so far.”

James is passionate about all things web from working on small independent projects to large local government sites and developing mobile and social strategies to enable easy access to information the move.
James is well known in the local area, not only for his web skills but as an important member of the Beeston community working on projects including creating a local cinema at the White Lion Bar & Kitchen.
