THE BODY of a woman found dead in a burning car last week had to be identified by her dental records, an inquest has heard.
The body of Dr Lisa Derriscott, 33, a clinical psychologist of Derby Road, Long Eaton, was found on the back seat of the Vauxhall Corsa last Wednesday morning.
Det Sgt Brian Bilby of Long Eaton CID told the inquest at Derby Coroners Court on Tuesday that the car was in a field off Wilne Lane, just outside the town, at about 8.50am.
He said the death was not being treated as suspicious and there was thought to be no third party involvement.
The road was closed but was re-opened by Wednesday afternoon.
The inquest was adjourned until a date to be fixed.
