Firefighters had to free a casualty from the wreckage of a crash between a car and a van.
The collision happened on Main Street, at Horsley Woodhouse, about 1.20pm, on Tuesday, January 20.
A Derbyshire fire services spokesman said: “There was a collision between a car and a van. A winch had to be used to lift the van from the car.
“Firefighters also freed one of the casualties who was placed in the care of the ambulance service.”
Ilkeston and Heanor firefighters made the crash scene safe by about 2pm.
