Firms in Derbyshire could get their hands on a share of £17.5m to get innovative ideas off the ground.
The cash is coming to the East Midlands Local Enterprise Partnerships, including D2N2 – the partnership for Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire.
The programme offers financial support from £25,000 to £500,000 to over 100 existing businesses in the East Midlands who are looking to grow and invest in innovation.
David Ralph, D2N2 chief executive, said: “We want to use this money to help unlock key investment projects to grow the D2N2 region’s economy.”
