The Met Office is predicting a cloudy start to the day with a noticeable westerly or southwesterly wind developing for Derbyshire and the East Midlands today, Tuesday May 12.
There will be some rain in places during the morning, turning more showery as bright or sunny spells develop by midday. It will then turn dry with sunny spells for the afternoon. The maximum temperature will be 16 degrees centigrade.
Tonight will be a dry night with clear spells, some prolonged. Winds will fall light and turn quite cool in rural locations, with a chance of a grass frost around dawn. The minimum temperature will be four degrees centigrade.
