Four children aged between 14 and seven were left ‘upset and shocked’ after a flasher exposed himself to them in Ilkeston town centre, police have said.
Two men, standing on South Street between The Charter pub and Ilkeston Library, shouted at the children who were with a 35-year-old woman, at about 9.15pm on Wednesday August 15.
As the group looked over, one of the men pulled his clothes down and exposed himself.
After pulling them up he and his friend ran off towards the pub and then up Market Street.
The flasher was described as white, in his mid 20s and between 5ft 6ins and 5ft 8ins tall.
He was wearing grey jogging bottoms and a jacket which appeared shiny or had a shiny motif across it.
A police spokesman said: “The children were very upset and shocked about what they had seen.”
Officers are appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time or who has any information which would help the police investigation to call them on 101.
