An Ilkeston man accused of having sex with a horse will have his case heard at Derby Crown Court in January.
Peter Coulby, 59, of Hillingdon Drive, appeared at Derby Magistrates’ Court on Monday for a committal hearing.
He faces four counts of having intercourse with a living animal between February 1 and June 6 and four counts of possessing extreme pornography.
The charges relate to an incident on June 6 when police were called to stables in Breaston Lane, Risley, following reports that a man was acting suspiciously in a field.
He will appear at the crown court on Monday January 21.
