AN ILKESTON man has appeared in court charged with criminal damage and common assault.
Nathan Harris, of Millfield Close, pleaded not guilty at Derby Magistrates’ Court to allegations he threw a bicycle at a car outside George’s fish and chip shop in Bath Street at about 2.50pm on Friday January 28.
The 25-year-old also denied pushing a girl over, who received a cut to her leg, and a public order offence.
Police arrested him at 8.15pm on Friday and he was remanded in custody.
Following the hearing on Monday he was remanded in custody again.
He will next appear at Derby Magistrates Court for an interim hearing via a video link on Wednesday February 9.
