A 41-year-old woman arrested after a man was stabbed in Long Eaton has been released on bail.
Police were called to a property on Cranmer Street at around 9pm last Wednesday, October 31.
When they arrived, they found a 21-year-old man, who had been stabbed, on the pavement. He was treated at the scene before being taken to the Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham where he underwent surgery.
His condition is described as stable. The woman was arrested shortly afterwards in connection with the assault but has been released pending further police enquiries.
A knife has been recovered.
