PCSO thanks public for help after attack on dog in Sandiacre
A Police Community Support Officer has thanked the public for their response after an appeal for information after an attack on a dog.
Last week, Sandiacre Safer Neighbourhood Team appealed for information after a dog was attacked by another dog on a canal path in the town.
And a result of the appeal, a 57-year-old man from Sandiacre has now been interviewed in connection with the incident. Enquiries are ongoing.
PCSO Matt Boyer, from the policing team, said: "We are really grateful for the information from the public that has enabled us to progress our investigation in to this incident.
“It is very pleasing to know that when people are asked to help they are prepared to come forward, which allows us to keep Sandiacre a safe and pleasant place to live.”
