The festival kicks off today, and police are warning that roads in the area will be busier than usual. Motorists are being advised to plan extra time for their journey, or if possible, to use an alternative route.

The A5012, the main road to the festival, is particularly busy with HGVs, especially quarry traffic. Police said: "Please be patient if you are behind one of these lorries.
