Two men ‘glassed’ in face

A 22-YEAR-OLD man was taken to the Queen’s Medical Centre on Sunday night after an alleged attack at the Market Inn, Ilkeston.

The man had to have stitches after he received a cut to his forehead and cheek after being attacked with broken glass.

A 40-year-old man was also injured receiving two cuts to his nose but he did not need hospital treatment.

An ambulance was called to the Market Place on Sunday May 1 just after 8pm.

Paramedics informed police of the incident who have launched in investigation into what happened.
