Delays on main Derbyshire road after crash
The A38 towards the M1 near Alfreton is currently down to one lane after a crash.
Highways Englad tweeted the above picture of a smashed car being cleared.
It is not known if anyone has been injured in the incident.
The road is not expected to fully reopen until around 10.30am.
A Highways England spokesperson urged people to seek alternative routes if heading towards the M1.
