The Derbyshire women’s cricket team are going into bat for local charity Treetops Hospice Care and its annual sponsored women-only fundraising walk the Starlight Strut.
The event, formerly known as the Moonlight Walk, is on Friday, May 19, with hundreds of women expected to walk through Derby city at night, raising thousands of pounds for the hospice.
Treetops provides nursing care and emotional support for adults, their families and carers.
Head of fundraising Jennifer Sheehy said: “Every penny raised for the charity makes a big difference so come and join us for an incredible evening and help us to support even more people in the future.”
