Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service has been shortlisted for a national award for its work in health and wellbeing.
Going up against other big companies such as British Gas, Network rail and John Lewis this award from Personnel Today has been recognised for initiatives in Human Resources.
Strategic HR partner at DFRS, Helen Minion, said: “I am delighted that the work of a relatively small team has been recognised and shortlisted for this year’s Health and Wellbeing award.
“This is a huge accolade for the team, who should be justly proud of their achievement. They work hard to deliver an excellent service to both our operational and support workforce, in turn helping Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service ensure it can deliver an ‘Excellent’ fire and rescue service to the communities of Derbyshire.”
The winners of the award will be announced at an event to be held in London in November.
