The Met Office has forecast a clear start across some areas of Derbyshire and the East Midlands, today, Monday, February 9.
Forecasters stated there will be a slight frost and possibly patchy frost and fog and it should be cloudy in other areas.
It should remain dry everywhere, according to the Met Office, with varying and often large amounts of cloud with sunny periods.
The Met Office has predicted that by tonight conditions should be dry with large amounts of cloud, but also some cloud breaks and clearer periods and there could be frost and fog.
Temperatures should reach a high of seven degrees centigrade and a low of three degrees centigrade, according to the Met Office.
