A KIRK Hallam primary school has been highlighted as one which has helped Derbyshire outperform schools throughout the country in national tests.
Dallimore Primary School is among the most improved schools in the county helping place Derbyshire above the national figure in all subjects at all levels in tests for 10- and 11-year-olds.
Derbyshire schools are also ranked top in all subjects at Key Stage 2 compared to similar authorities.
Cllr Mike Longden, Derbyshire County Council’s cabinet member for education, said it was a ‘fantastic result’.
“I’d like to congratulate everyone involved. But we are not complacent and we remain committed to ensuring that every child on Derbyshire gets the education they deserve,” he said.
