Shoppers will soon be able to get hold of this hand-drawn map pointing them to fantastic deals for a fiver across Ilkeston.

There are 18 independent businesses offering a total of 26 one-off £5 deals in the Totally Locally Ilkeston Fiver Fest, which runs from now until August 31.

Here’s a list of deals available:

Lobina’s, 338 Nottingham Road

- Home cooked Italian cheese and tomato pizza with 3 toppings to take away (usually £7.50)

- Home made Healthy Pasta Meal for 2 to take away (usually £7)

The Wedding Boutique, 78 South Street

- For brides to be and a friend! The wedding boutique is all yours as you both enjoy a glass of bubbly or tea or coffee! Enjoy a personal consultation and try on bridal gowns at your leisure (available on Sundays or an evening of your choice).

Martin Ogden Butchers, 61 South Street

- BBQ starter pack. 5 homemade beef burgers and 10 homemade pork sausages (usually £6.70).

Stacey’s Bakery. 59 South Street and 100 Bath Street

- A 6” celebration cake personalised with your choice of message and trim. Three days’ notice required, orders can be emailed to, no deposit necessary (usually £11)
