Fun day for charity at Kirk Hallam pub

A FREE fun day this weekend is set to raise cash for a charity which sends disadvantaged children from the county on holidays.

The Cat and Fiddle pub in Ladywood Road, Kirk Hallam, will host face painting, karaoke, football skills, a tombola and a bouncy castle amongst many more activities on Saturday.

The event runs from 1pm to 6pm with all proceeds going to the Derbyshire Children’s Holidays Centre, which provides 450 holiday places in Skegness, Lincolnshire every summer.

The charity is 120-years-old this year.
